Dora is the daughter of Judy (dec) and Dudley Cox (dec). In her early days Dora worked on Go-Go- Station, cooking at the school for a long time while her children were growing up. Dora and her partner Don moved to Moongardie Community when it was established in the early 80s. Dora still lives in Moongardie with her family. She started painting in 2005 and enjoys painting with acrylic on canvas and on collected boab nuts. Dora is a prolific and energetic artist and paints all aspects of her country from flowers, animals, and bush tucker to traditional Dreamtime stories.
