Kenneth was born in 1995 to artistic parents Terry Dawson and Sandra Cox. He is the oldest son of a family of 10. He grew around Pullout Springs and Yiyili with his family. He attend Yiyili Aboriginal Community School up until year 10 then went to St Johns College in Darwin for further education. Most recently Kenneth was the Cultural Teacher at Yiyili Aboriginal Community School. As a child Kenneth started watching his grandmother Margaret, mother Sandra and father Terry paint and developed an active interest in the practice. Kenneth loves to paint about bush animals, the country and dreamtime stories that was told to him by his grandfather and father. Kenneth is interested in painting traditional culture and stories in a contemporary style.
