Laarri Art Centre

Priscilla was born in Derby and grew up in Yiyili Aboriginal Community on Louisa Downs Station. Her mother and grandfather were both well-known artists and a community leaders. Priscilla’s detailed and measured approach to her painting created tonal patterning that visualise her cultural story and the seasonal landscapes that she lives in. Priscilla continues to paint and develop her artistic skills and has begun to show great promise as a photographer and now has her own postcards for sale here at the Gallery. She is an exciting emerging artist.
